Getting Over the Brick Wall and Wiping the Slate Clean.

Many people, both men and women, carry the impact of past mistakes long after a conviction. Finding a job can be very difficult unless an employer is willing to give them a second chance. This can create stress and make it harder to move forward in life, affecting not only the individual but also their family, education, and future goals.

Access to clear information about expunging a criminal record can make a real difference. It can open the door to a fresh start and new opportunities. Our goal is to provide accurate, up to date information to help people understand their options and take the next steps.

We guide individuals through the application process and provide support and information needed to submit a pardon application to the Board of Pardons. While we are not lawyers and do not provide legal advice, we are here to help people understand the process and move forward with confidence. Our mission is to support individuals who are ready to apply for a pardon and work toward “wiping the slate clean” and building a better future.

We make the Connecticut pardon process simple, clear, and manageable.

Our team guides you step by step through your pardon application. We explain exactly what documents you need and show you where and how to get them, so nothing feels confusing or overwhelming.

We take time to learn your story. Through a one on one interview, we help you clearly explain your past and highlight the positive changes you have made since then. We work with you to present your growth, your achievements, and the steps you have taken to move forward in a strong and honest way.

Once everything is complete, we carefully review your full application and pardon package to make sure it is clear, organized, and ready for the Board of Pardons and Paroles. Our goal is to help you present the strongest application possible.

We will enter the application into the BoPP e-Portal, upload all the documents, and submit it. Then follow it along through the process. We check the progress weekly. Pardons can take up to 6 months to go through the system.

You will receive up to four hours of personalized support, either in person or by phone or email. To stay on track, your application must be started within 60 days of signing up and completed within 180 days. Applications not completed within that time may be subject to additional fees.
