Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Pardon Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist clients by managing pardon applications, preparing documentation required by the Board of Pardons and Parole, and ensuring compliance with Connecticut State Laws. This role requires excellent organizational and communication skills, as well as a strong commitment to client confidentiality and advocacy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and process pardon applications and related documentation.
  • Conduct client intake interviews and review criminal records to assess eligibility for pardons and certificates of employability.
  • Communicate effectively with client, and relevant state agencies such as the Connecticut Board of Pardons and Paroles.
  • Maintain accurate case records, data entry, and file tracking to ensure timely processing.
  • Assist in research and interpretation of Connecticut pardon laws and regulations.
  • Provide administrative support and follow up on case status updates.
  • Uphold strict confidentiality and privacy standards when handling sensitive client information.
  • Advocate for clients with empathy, professionalism, and discretion.

Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with Connecticut pardon and expungement processes is a strong advantage.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a high attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases efficiently and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in data entry and standard office software (e.g., MS Office)
  • Gmail, Google Drive .
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
