What's it like to work with the Connecticut Pardon Team?
On this page, we'll tell you the kinds of results our program participants have reported and we'll also give you a sense of our guiding beliefs, approach to providing the information and tools you need to help change your life, and how we're different from other companies and organizations providing this kind of information.

When you attend one of our Pardon Forums, you'll get the essential, practical information you need to start and complete the pardon application process on your own. You'll receive a look at the pardon process from someone that's been through it. You'll be provided with the Board of Pardon & Parole's complete application, along with their step-by-step instructions on how to complete and  submit your application.

Once you've successfully submitted your package and been scheduled for a hearing, you must be prepared for your personal appointment with the Pardon Board. We offer assistance with all aspects of personal appearance and presentation, including helping you work through any fear of public speaking; self-esteem and self-confidence builders to help you feel more comfortable presenting your information.

Our goal is to empower you to prepare and submit your own application successfully.

Our Guiding Beliefs and Values

If you have changed your life, and are a good, hard-working state resident, you should finish the process of reform. Don't be satisfied with good citizenship - apply for a pardon and get your record cleaned up.

There are many reasons people should go through this process - not the least of which are pride and self-respect. One of the most practical reasons is that doing so will nullify the issue of past criminal behavior on a job application - no one should be held back forever because of a past mistake.

We are passionate about what we provide because we know that finding gainful employment as a convicted felon – irrespective of the nature of the crime is near impossible, and continues to be long after debts to society have been paid.

In substance, every convicted felon faces a life sentence with respect to employment, making leading a normal life himself and his family an insurmountable task. We provide hope, dignity, and motivation where there is none and as a result the long term effects will:

- Significantly reduce recidivism.
- Reduce taxpayer burdens and government expenditures by:
- Reduce the number of felons seeking social services (welfare)
- Reduce the number of felons seeking government sponsored healthcare
- Reduce the costs associated with housing inmates
- Reduce crime as felons would be able to find legal means of earning an income
- Reduce unemployment
- Help break the vicious cycle of crime and welfare as a way of life in certain communities.

Our Approach

We're above all, flexible - we are here to provide you with information and tools to empower you to file your own Pardon Application. Our public speaking and personal appearance assistance is designed to help raise your self-confidence and self-esteem so that you put your best foot forward.

Quick response is guaranteed - Nothing is more frustrating than working with an agency that will not answer your phone calls or return your emails. We don't just try to be responsive, we guarantee your calls or emails will be returned in 2 business days or less.

What Makes Us Unique

Our team has personal knowledge of the process - Our Founder and Chairwoman, Jacqueline Caron, completed the Pardon process and based on her experience, the forums were born. Attorney Linda J. Sullivan assisted her with the pardon application process, and now serves as our Legal Consultant. There are many volunteers involved with the organization that bring experience and knowledge in many areas that we will use to help you.

When you're going through this sometimes stressful and difficult process, you want a team that doesn't just work with theory, but has a hands-on approach that is proven to work. Since we began the forums in 2004, we have provided information to over 2,500 individuals, and the volume of pardon applications has increased dramatically.

Now that you have a better idea about the information we provide our participants, go to the Our Services page to learn about the specific services and programs we offer.
