Principals and Trainers for the Connecticut Pardon Team

Email Jackie

Jacqueline Caron, Founder / Chairwoman

Jackie's story is well known to those connected with the pardon process. It was Jackie's difficult experience under the old Pardon Process that inspired her to begin the Connecticut Pardon Team.

At the time she completed her process, there was no one to help shepherd her along the way, and she felt that the initial process was cumbersome and intimidating.

"The process of applying was mind-boggling," Jackie remembers. "The application was so thick and requirements so complicated, I thought a person would have to hold a doctorate to get through it."

Email Attorney Sullivan

Attorney Linda J. Sullivan

With a thriving practice in East Lyme, Attorney Sullivan was Mrs. Caron's attorney when she was going through her most difficult times. As a former public defender, Attorney Sullivan has seen many good people make mistakes and feel they have to pay for them the rest of their lives.

Her knowledge of the pardon process and the law is an invaluable resource during the informational sessions, where she freely gives of herself and her experience.

She helps to de-mystify a process which can be intimidating with a down-to-earth approach to legal matters and the Pardon process. Attorney Sullivan acts as our advisor and co-presenter during the Pardon Forums, and helps guide others who want to obtain a state pardon.

    Email Richard

Richard A. Caron, Sr., Executive Director

Richard is an experienced professional with many different talents, including financial management. He applied for and received his own pardon just a short while ago, so he has first-hand knowledge about the process.

Richard also serves as the team's cameraman for public forums that are taped, and has his own show on Adelphia Cable via their Public Access system.

Richard's easy manner and desire to help others made him a natural fit for the Connecticut Pardon Team - he is also the proud husband of Jacqueline Caron, the Team's Founder and Chairwoman.

Laura Anderson, President

Laura holds her masters degree in Elementary Education and is currently teaching preschool. She volunteers for a variety of community organizations, including the Greeneville NRZ, the Norwich Winterfestival Committee, the Yankee Yesteryear Car Club (membership chairperson), and of course the President of the Connecticut Pardon Team.
